About Us
Tim and Ann Bailey have been frequent visitors to Grand Lake since 1987, when they bought their first boat from Indian Hills Marina, and have been in love with the area ever since.
In 2019, they were fortunate enough to purchase a house in Honey Creek and made Grand Lake their full-time home.
They both enjoy family and spending time teaching their grandchildren all the wonderful things that Grand Lake has to offer, like fishing for Grand Lake crappie, swimming off their dock and evening boat rides to watch the glorious Grand sunsets.
In late 2021, the opportunity arose to purchase Note-Able Outdoor Living from Ken and Myra Noteboom, who had done a great job building the business and developing wonderful customer relationships. Tim and Ann’s intention is to continue to grow the business, foster customer relations and give back to the community.
Ken and Myra started the business in 2015, as a way to offer employment to those needing a second chance, as well as provide training to help their employees develop marketable skills and teach them how to deal in the business world.
Their mission was even incorporated into the company’s name: Note for the first four letters of their last name, Noteboom, and Able because they were trying to enable people to get work.
From its early days selling red cedar chairs handcrafted in Ken and Myra’s garage, Notable Outdoor Living has grown to become Grand Lake’s favorite source for high-quality outdoor furnishings.
Responsive customer service, making sure each customer is satisfied and offering a variety of high-quality brands for a complete outdoor experience are hallmarks of Notable Outdoor Living.
Notable Outdoor Living carries the Berlin Gardens LLC poly outdoor furniture collection, as well as its rugs, fire pits and fire tables.
Ann and Tim Bailey’s grandchildren love spending time outdoors. As Grand Lake’s favorite source for high-quality outdoor furnishings, Note-Able Outdoor Living carries a variety of brands so you can make the most of your outdoor experience.
Berlin Gardens furniture is manufactured in Ohio. It is then shipped to Notable Outdoor Living. Once the shipment arrives, the staff finishes assembling the furniture in the shop — or, sometimes, on your deck, dock, porch or patio — before delivering it to you.
Delivery is available for no charge to most of the Grand Lake area. They also offer delivery within 150 miles of their store, which includes the Four State area of Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and northwest Arkansas.
Notable Outdoor Living will also drop ship to anywhere in the United States.
To help change the way Northwest Arkansans enjoy the outdoors, Notable Outdoor Living opened a second showroom in Springdale, Ark., in early 2023.
Located inside Ozark Sunrooms & More, the showroom features the Berlin Gardens LLC poly outdoor furniture collection and the exceptional shade products from Frankford Umbrellas.
